Rick and I were at our computers and Noah was just laughing away, so we had to see what was going on! Here Noah and Grandma are playing with Noah’s Ark. I’m not sure what was just SOO funny, but he sure was having a good time!
Grandma arrived in KC on Wednesday night around 6ish. This was the first time she drove down by herself!! Now that we know she can do it, I think she should be visiting more often!!! It’s been nice having her here so far!! She plays with Noah and Rick and I can get some work done!! We did take a little time yesterday afternoon and went shopping at Costco – while Rick stayed home and worked!! Then when we got home, we HAD to go for a walk!! It was 80 degrees!!! We walked over to the park and Noah and Grandma swang for awhile – and I, of course, forgot the camera!
Noah and I will be heading back to George with Mom on Sunday or Monday – we haven’t decided when we are leaving yet. Hopefully Rick will come and pick us up sometime!!! I think he’s going to miss Noah, so I’m pretty sure he’ll be back!!
Noah is 7 months old today!! He’s sitting by himself and is really liking his toys. He always needs something to play with! In this picture, he has a little car that he’s chewing on. I did have a sign that said “7 Months”, but he wanted to eat it (which he did chew off a little corner)…so I gave him the toy instead!
He is always kicking or moving. I think we’re going to get in pretty good shape once he can start walking/running!!!! I just hope we have 1/2 the amount of energy he has!! I think crawling is just around the corner for him. He gets his little butt up in the air, but his face is buried in the floor, so it’s not working out too much yet.
Rick and Paul needed to head to Home Depot to get a breaker box…Rick needed a new outlet in the garage for his new welder. He needed the welder so he can work on the Nova. I was thinking we should just sell the Nova, then we wouldn’t have needed the welder…or the new breaker…but I got out voted!! Not that I actually thought I would win that argument anyway!! But it will be nice to have Rick work on the car after all these years! Hopefully it won’t take years to get it back to running order, but we’ll see!!! So anyway, they needed a new breaker at Home Depot, so we thought we’d head to the Home Depot on 151st Street so we could walk around the Great Plains Mall!!! Paul pushed Noah in his stroller almost the whole time and I think Noah liked it! He’s a pretty crazy driver!!! We did end up getting Noah some sweatpants at Children’s Place that were on clearance!!! Yeah for the clearance rack!!!
If you need marbles, we know the place for you!!! We were having a lazy afternoon and thought we would go to the marble place – Moon Marble Company. It was supposed to be Noah’s naptime, but we figured he’d fall asleep on the way over, which he did, but as soon as we walked inside, he woke up! He was pretty interested in all the marbles and toys they had! I think he just wanted something new to chew on! After we looked around for a little while, they were going to do a demonstration on how they make a marble. It was pretty interesting how it all works!! Very time consuming just to make one marble! Noah even seemed pretty interested in the process….or he just liked the big flame the guy was using!
