Funny,
Noah
Do you remember a couple of weeks back when we celebrated Rick’s parent’s 50th anniversary? We left Noah with our great neighbor friends while we went out. Well, we just received a picture from that night….we are currently looking for new babysitters!!!!
They always teased us that they were going to dress Noah up in their little girls dresses…but we didn’t think they were serious! Guess we should never underestimate the power of a free babysitter!!! Now for paybacks!!!

We headed back to George for my cousins wedding on Saturday, August 1st – congratulations Kristen and Travis!!!! On Sunday, we headed to the George pool in the early afternoon and then had a birthday party for Noah at the park. Monday night we went to watch Deanna play at the co-ed softball game and then went to Reid’s farm to shoot off some fireworks. The mosiquotes were pretty bad and I got bit up, even Noah had some bug bites. Tuesday we headed over to Rock Valley to go to the beach with Renae and the boys and then on the way home, stopped to see Ryan and family one last time. Then we were headed back to KC on Wednesday morning.

Noah,
Rick

The boys were outside today taking care of the lawn. I think Noah was trying to tell Daddy that his lines are not straight!!!
Noah got his bubble mower for his birthday from one of our neighbors and he loves this thing. Everytime we are in the garage he points to it. The bubbles ran out and I haven’t refilled them yet, but it doesn’t seem to bother him.

Holidays,
Noah
We had Noah’s 1st Birthday Party last night at our house. Everyone started coming around 5 o’clock and we grilled some hotdogs. After eating we had to do cake and ice cream!!! The kids loved the monkey cake, they were lined up to get a piece. After cake we opened presents…okay, so I opened presents while Noah sat on my lap. He did pull at the paper a little bit, but I had to do most of the work! After the presents were open, we headed outside so the adults could play washers and the kids could play with some of Noah’s new toys.

Rick’s parents, Paul & Marie, are celebrating their 50th Anniversary today!!! Last night we told them they needed to be dressed and ready to go by 4 o’clock. They had no idea what was going on, but at 4, the limo pulled up and we told them to go outside…SURPRISE!!! We rode around in the limo for awhile drinking some champagne and doing some site seeing. Then at 6 o’clock we went to the New Theatre Restaurant and had a great meal and watched “The Sound of Music”. They said they had a great time and enjoyed everything!!!
