Self Feeder

Posted by Rachel on Mar 16, 2009 in Iowa, Noah

Noah has figured out how to pick up his own food!! Now I can give him some munchies to passify him while I make his lunch or dinner. Before he would pick up a piece of food and look at his fist and couldn’t find it, so he would pick up another piece. He just couldn’t find it in his hands! Now, he’ll pick up one piece, put it in his mouth, pick up another piece, put it in his mouth and then pick up a third piece! Guess we need to figure out how to teach him to eat slower!!!

Lazy Day

Posted by Rachel on Mar 15, 2009 in Family, Iowa, Noah

Today was a pretty lazy day. Noah slept in until 8 am and then got up and had some breakfast. He was ready for his morning nap at 9:45 and slept until noon. Mom came home on her lunch break so we all had lunch together. Then me and Noah headed out to Pam’s house to visit. When we got back, it was Noah’s nap time again. When he woke up, he had his dinner and thenĀ it was time to play! He seems to like this little wagon of Mom’s. He’ll be in the middle of the room and he rolls over to this table. He pulled the wagon off the table the other day and today he was trying to pull it off again!

Cousins

This picture is from yesterday when I watched the three oldest boys – Jack, Kahle and Noah. It really wasn’t bad watching the boys. Jack and Kahle played very well together and Noah loved watching them play!

Grandma and her grandsons…this is no easy task to get all the kids together and to have everyone looking at the camera at the same time. Actually I think we should have had a camera on everyone else behind me who was trying to get the boys attention!!! It’s crazy what they will do to try to get a smile!!

Renae, Micah and Kahle left this morning to go and wash the car, so I was on Bodee and Noah duty for a little while. It was pretty cute how they were “talking” to each other.

I’m free!!!

Posted by Rachel on Mar 13, 2009 in Family, Iowa, Noah

Well, this morning I was watching Jack, Kahle and Noah. It wasn’t as bad as I thought!! Noah took a morning nap, so I was then down to two – and they can play by themselves…for the most part. We’re still working on sharing and not hitting everything in sight, but they have been pretty good…so far! BUT when Noah is awake, I don’t really trust him on the floor with the older two boys – they like to run around and play farm and they don’t really care what or who is in their way. So when it was nap time for Kahle and Jack, Noah was free to roll around and play on the floor!! I think he likes the freedom!!! And when it’s time for Noah’s afternoon nap, I’m sure the two older boys will just be getting up – so this is working pretty good!!!!

Story Time

Posted by Rachel on Mar 12, 2009 in Family, Iowa, Noah

Noah and I headed to Rock Valley today so we could see the Weber’s!!! Micah had the day off because the Rock Valley boys basketball team is at state. Renae still had to teach so we waited for her to come home. We had some lunch and then Micah had to leave for a little while. When he came back, it was nap time for the boys…I think they were all sleeping at the same time for about a total of 5 minutes!!! Noah didn’t sleep very long, I think he thought he was going to miss out on something! He sure liked watching Kahle play!! After Renae came back home we had some supper and the boys played for awhile. Then I packed up Noah and Kahle and headed back to George.
