Deanna Rose Farm

We headed back to Olathe on Sunday with Renae, Kahle and Bodee. Renae’s husband Micah was going to be out of town for this week, so we thought it would be great if she stayed with us for the week!!!! I can’t believe how fast this week is going already!!!

On Tuesday morning we headed to the Deanna Rose Farmstead so the kids could look at the animals. That night we went down to the pool for a swim.

By George, here we are!

Posted by Rachel on May 25, 2009 in Family, Iowa, Noah

We were packing everything up and the last thing we were packing was the cooler of food to take back. Noah crawled over to the fridge and grabbed his pudding…I guess he didn’t want me to forget it!!!

We got to Mom’s on Thursday night and went to my Uncle’s auction. On Friday me and Mom went thru shower stuff and that night we went to the races with Pam!

Saturday I got to spend some time with Renae and the boys. Micah and Rick headed out to Reid’s to help him cut down some dead evergreen trees. And Rick has the scratches to prove it!! Saturday night had Pizza Ranch pizza!!!! Oh yeah!! After eating, the little boys played and Rick read a book to Renae…actually he was reading to Kahle, but then Kahle figured the toys would be better, so he left Rick hanging.

Sunday we went to church and then we had my cousin’s wedding shower. That night we went out to Ryan’s house and the boys got to play on the farm and we got to eat! Monday morning we headed to the Grandparents for a quick visit before we left.

To Mason City

Posted by Rachel on May 11, 2009 in Family, Iowa, Noah

We headed to Mason City this last weekend to visit Rick’s parents. Noah traveled really well – he stays awake a lot more on the car ride, so we bring a DVD player along for some entertainment – but as you can see, he likes to chew on his feet. I’d try it, but I can’t bend that way!!!

On Friday night, Rick’s parents had a couple of free nights at the Diamond Joe Casino hotel, so we headed there for the night. We took Noah swimming for the first time!! He really liked it, except when someone jumped into the pool!! I think the loud splash scared him.

Saturday we came back to Mason City and went to the park to feed the ducks. Then we went to see Great Grandma Schultz. Then it was time to get busy!! His parents had a slab of concrete in their yard that an old fireplace used to be on. So we knocked that out for them. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it was a good project to get done!

Family Fun Day

Posted by Rachel on Mar 21, 2009 in Family, Iowa

On Friday night, the whole Krull family got together for some family bonding. We grilled some brats and had dinner together and just hung out. Grandma Janice gave all four boys a new pajamas, so of course, we had to put them on!! Then Kahle and Jack started jumping on the bed, so we wanted to get a picture, which then led to trying to get a picture of all four boys in their new pajamas, which then led to trying to get Grandma in the picture with the boys. This is the best picture we got…other pictures had a hand trying to give one of the boys a treat, or someone was crying or someone was jumping on the bed. I guess boys will be boys!!

On Saturday morning, Mom had everyone over for breakfast. It ended up being a bribery breakfast!!! After we ate, Mom thought it would be nice if we all would rake her yard and the neighbors yard. Mom’s neighbors are so good to her and mow her yard and remove snow, so it was the least we could do for them! With all of us chipping in, it didn’t take long at all to do the two yards. We finished just in time for lunch, so Mom ordered Pizza Ranch!!! It was so nice outside that we set up some chairs in the garage and ate outside!!! We even brought Noah outside to eat!!

Strange Places

Posted by Rachel on Mar 19, 2009 in Family, Iowa, Noah

Now that Noah is rolling all over the place, he gets in the weirdest places. Tonight we went to Reid’s house and had grilled some hamburgers. Noah was playing on the floor one minute and the next he was under the table. We’re not quite sure how he got under the table, still facing out – wish we would have seen how he did it!!

Earlier today, Rick put Noah down in the middle of Mom’s living room and when he came back, Noah was gone! He had rolled between the two couches. When he can start crawling and running around, I think we are going to have our hands full!!
