We headed back to Olathe on Sunday with Renae, Kahle and Bodee. Renae’s husband Micah was going to be out of town for this week, so we thought it would be great if she stayed with us for the week!!!! I can’t believe how fast this week is going already!!!
On Tuesday morning we headed to the Deanna Rose Farmstead so the kids could look at the animals. That night we went down to the pool for a swim.

Here’s a couple of more pictuers from this week so far….

Friday night we had a little driveway party!! The neighbors brought the firepit over and the rest of the neighbors just kept coming!! I think there was 8 different neighbors that were in the driveway. We have such good and fun neighbors!!!!

Well, this is Noah’s newest favorite thing to play with…yes, it’s a floor register. I am blaming this one on his cousin Kahle. When Noah was born, Kahle was here and he played with this same register – so I know that Noah was only a few days old, but it must have left a pretty good impression!!
He did have a little mishap with the register though. He was pointing down in the hole and he just kept going – but his head stopped his fall!!! He had a little mark by his eye, but he’s okay!

Late this afternoon, Rick was pounding on his drums…this time for a good cause! They played at the charity sale that will benefit the March of Dimes annual March for Babies Fundraiser. You can read about the charity sale here. The band had a good time playing for the crowd and we had a good time listening!!

Rick is posing very nicely for the picture!

The drummers biggest fans!!!

Today we decided to go to the Deanna Rose Farm so Noah could look at the animals. As soon as we got into the park, we took him out of the stroller so he could look at the huge fish. At first he was watching all the other kids running around and then he noticed the fish. He seen a Texas Longhorn, Bison, sheep, goats, owl, Bald Eagle, horse, and of course, a cow!! We could go into the pen with the goats, and he loved that! He would just laugh at the goats when they came up to him. I can definately see that we will be going back for some great entertainment when he gets older.

We had to take a picture of Noah in this cut out…I’m sure Dad was looking down and smiling at the thought of Noah being a dairy farmer!!! If I would have been quicker with the camera, Rick first walked Noah over to the cow and the cow turned and had her nose right in Noah’s face!! It was pretty cute!!!
