Noah

Noah loves to be outside and loves to go for walks. If we are going to go on a short walk, we’ll use the wagon. He likes to stand up in the wagon, so if we’re on a longer walk, we’ll strap him down in the stroller. If we are just playing outside, he likes to try to get on his new trike. He’s a little too short to get his leg over, but it is pretty comical watching him try to get on. After he realizes he can’t get on the trike, he’ll just push it around, which ends up just going in circles. At least it keeps him occupied!!!
He has now decided that he wants to only take one nap a day. We are still adjusting a little bit. He seems to get pretty tired by the time he’s done eating his lunch and is definitely ready for a nap. I’ll lay him down in his crib and I don’t usually hear a peep out of him for another 2-1/2 to 3 hours!!!! Then at night, he is usually getting pretty tired by 7:30.

Noah

One day while Noah was eating, he was poking his peas with one of his crackers. If he would get one poked, he would eat it off the cracker and try again. Well, being the quick mom that I am, I thought that he would maybe want to use a fork! So I gave him a fork and he loved it! He’ll try to poke his food and he’s pretty proud of himself if he gets something. If he doesn’t get something in about two tries, he’ll just pick it up and eat it with his fingers. He’s still not so good with the fork if the food is not poked into the prongs. He tends to turn the fork to the side and the food will slide off so we have a little practice to do yet! I’m just surprised that he wants to even attempt to use a fork! Now if I can just get him to leave the plate sitting without throwing it on the floor!!

Family,
Noah
Rick’s Mom stayed with us for about a week and a half while Paul went up to Canada with some friends to go fishing. It was nice to have her help out with Noah so I could get caught up on some work. One day she was vaccuuming and Noah got his little vaccuum out and was helping her. He’s not always the best helper, but at least he’s cute!!!!
His forehead is looking better. The scab is starting to fall off. It ended up looking a lot worse than what we thought it would. Whenever we meet someone, they need to know what he did to get such a big scrape on his head…I guess it is hard not to notice it!!!

Noah
Last night we were sitting outside in the driveway with the neighbors and Noah was walking around. I’m not sure if he tripped or just got going a little too fast, but he fell. He caught himself, but must have had a little too much momentum going and after he caught himself, he fell forward a little more and scrapped his forehead. The funny thing is that as soon as he hit his head, he let out a little fart!! Maybe he had more momentum than we thought!!!

Funny,
Noah
Do you remember a couple of weeks back when we celebrated Rick’s parent’s 50th anniversary? We left Noah with our great neighbor friends while we went out. Well, we just received a picture from that night….we are currently looking for new babysitters!!!!
They always teased us that they were going to dress Noah up in their little girls dresses…but we didn’t think they were serious! Guess we should never underestimate the power of a free babysitter!!! Now for paybacks!!!
