Funny

On our way to church this morning, Noah was very vocal, so we figured one of us would have to take him to the nursery for the first time today! He was actually doing really good until the sermon started…I guess Noah had his own sermon he wanted to give, but we had other ideas. So Rick brought him to the nursery. Rick said as soon as they got to the nursery and Rick set him down, he crawled right over to these foam blocks and sat on them. We really think he is half monkey!!! I guess Noah likes the nursery – I suppose we better get used to it, because we might be there more often!!!

Around KC

Friday night we had a little driveway party!! The neighbors brought the firepit over and the rest of the neighbors just kept coming!! I think there was 8 different neighbors that were in the driveway. We have such good and fun neighbors!!!!

Noah
Noah was such a big helper yesterday! I started folding laundry and he came crawling over to help!! Actually he probably just made more work for me because he would just throw the clothes out on the floor. Then he must have gotten bored so he took off with some clothes and went to go play with some toys in his bedroom.
A little later we were down stairs and he was playing in the living room and I was on my computer in the other room. All of the sudden I realized it was pretty quite, so I thought I better go see what he was getting into. The only problem…he wasn’t in the living room and I couldn’t find him! I knew he was around somewhere, but he was really quite…so I knew he was up to no good!!! Then I thought I heard some noise down the hall…I turned on the light and yep, there he was – in the bathroom!!!!

He had unrolled some toilet paper and was now playing with the toilet flusher!! All of this in the dark!! What a crazy kid!!!

Noah
Last night Noah was VERY energentic so we thought we’d go down to the neighborhood pool. We thought it was a little cold, but it didn’t phase Noah at all! He wanted to keep crawling in deeper! There is a little bubbler thing that is right at the entrance and Noah liked playing with it.
Today we went for walk and then stopped at the pool. The water was still cold, but it still didn’t phase Noah! There were some more kids at the pool and they even shared their toys with him. We might need to get some water toys for Noah so we don’t have to rely on other kids toys!!
I’m thinking we might be spending a lot of time at the pool this summer! (I forgot to take a picture at the pool, so this is when we got back – I’m sure I’ll get some pictures at the pool sometime soon!)
