Noah
Noah rolled for the first time from his back to his stomach this afternoon!!! He rolled from his stomach to his back last Sunday and has done that a few times now. He didn’t really get a lot of practice in while we were in Iowa – he was too busy being held or played with!!! Maybe he figured he better figure out how to get out of the way of his two older cousins!! So the next time they get together, they will have a moving target!!

Noah’s first Christmas was great!!! We traveled up to Mason City on Monday afternoon. We ended up hitting a detour, so it took us longer to get there – Noah did fine on the trip, it was Rick and I that were getting pretty restless! We opened presents at Rick’s parents house on Christmas Eve. We didn’t time it very well – we ended up opening presents when Noah was getting pretty tired, so he was more interested in sleeping. Christmas Morning we woke up and had some breakfast and then started packing to head to George. On the way through Emmetsburg, we stopped to visit Joni and her family for a little while to try to catch up.
Once we got to George, we had our family Christmas that night. The next day we lounged around and then had to get ready to have my Mom’s side over for Christmas that night. We were supposed to go to Klaassen’s house, but Deb got the flu, so she was obviously not feeling up to having a houseful of guests.
Saturday we had Christmas at Grandma Krull’s at noon. After we opened presents we headed out so we wouldn’t get back to Kansas too late.
We had a great time for Noah’s first Christmas and it was great to see everyone!!! I think Noah was excited to get out of his carseat when we got back though. We laid him on the floor and he just started kicking away!!
By the way, I would post some pictures…but that is the one thing we forgot in Iowa. So until I get our camera back, you’ll have to wait on the pictures. Sorry!! So the picture of Noah here is from Rick’s phone…not the best quality, but it will do for now!

Noah

So far, today has been kind of a lazy day. After we got home from church, we cleaned up the kitchen a little and then turned on tv to watch the Cheifs. Noah was pretty excited at the beginning because the Chiefs actually had a few touchdowns. But then it was time for Noah’s nap, so he didn’t get to see the final. I guesss I’ll have to let him know that they lost…again.
Now I guess it’s time to get everything lined up to head to Iowa. We have a list going and hopefully everythign will fit in the Durango! Noah might be small, but he sure does need a lot of stuff when we leave!

I got on a baking kick and made 8 different kinds of candy for Christmas, but being that we don’t need all of that candy, we gave some to our neighbors! So we put on Noah’s santa hat and went around the passed out plates of goodies!! We still have some more left, so feel free to stop on by and have some! I can’t promise that there will be any Creme De Menthe Bars or Peanut Butter Balls left – those are Rick’s favorites!

Noah

Noah has really been watching us eat, so we thought we would try to give him some cereal this afternoon. He didn’t really mind it, but we also didn’t feed him too much either. He needs to learn how to work his little tongue so he can actually get more if it down instead of just shoving it back out his mouth, but I’m sure that will come in no time!! After a little while, he was starting to get a little frustrated and just wanted some plain old milk.
